Farmhouse Ale Annie Goat Soap

Traditionally our Farmhouse Ale soap used our own homebrew, but now it features the brews of some of our local brewery friends, 9th Hour Brewing and Harbor Brewing Company, both located here in our town of Lake Villa, Illinois! It’s still made using our own raw goat milk, so you’ll enjoy a super lather, and dense bubbles in the shower (or tub!). Blended with hibiscus, alkanet and activated charcoal powders (historically known for anti-inflammatory, gentle exfoliating and detoxifying benefits), this bar is ready and packed with goodies to help you get to cleaning your skin with purpose!

Scent Profile: You’ll notice warm top notes of bourbon, cherry, tobacco, and spice, with low notes of malty dark chocolate, just like well-balanced stout beer.

Annie Goat Soap is handcrafted using pure ingredients, thoughtful scenting and raw goat milk from our small farm in northern Illinois. Our soaps are rustic and rough-hewn, making them uniquely imperfect in appearance, and perfectly bubbly and luxurious when used for cleansing!  Hand blended in small batches, we believe in handling the soap as little as possible, so after cutting and curing, they are wrapped, arriving to you, ready to get to work cleaning your skin!

Ingredients: This Annie Goat Soap is made with our own organic dairy goat milk, homebrew; olive oil, organic coconut oil, castor oil; water, lard, sodium hydroxide, activated charcoal, hibiscus & alkanet powders; cosmetic-grade, phthalate-free fragrance oil; tussah silk, Himalayan salt, titania. Additional or fewer ingredients noted on packaging and in each soap’s description. Our products are preservative-free, and never tested on animals. Learn more about all our ingredients here.

I have yet to use this specific soap but have used the hot cocoa soap and love it!

I’m not much of an ale drinker, but this reminds me of a luscious cup of coffee with cream. Yum.
