Fall Wreath Making Workshop

Hop & Hen Farm Wreath Making Workshop

A Witchy Autumn Craft Experience with Guest Maker Kathy Charles

Isn’t fall the absolute best time to start making all the things that bring warmth and seasonal joy to your home? We think so!

Join us for a magical afternoon as we welcome guest craft master Kathy Charles, a lifelong maker known for her basket weaving, broom making, jewelry crafting, and even weaving at sea during turbulent waves! Kathy brings decades of creativity and skill to this seasonal workshop, guiding guests through the art of crafting their own beautiful autumn wreaths. All supplies will be provided expert guidance will help you create an object de art you will enjoy for years to come!

This workshop comes with a playful twist! Guests are invited to arrive wearing a witch hat for our Witchy Hat Contest. Store-bought or handmade, simple or elaborate, anything goes. Here’s a pretty easy pattern so you can make one ahead of time, but you don’t have to. I bought mine from a friend in NJ that makes them out of tattered old quilts!

Throughout the afternoon, enjoy our seasonal spritzers, affectionately named Witch’s Brews, offered in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions, and our signature spiced tea. I’ll also be making specially prepared finger foods that you will be sure to devour (and guaranteed to keep the creativity flowing!)

At the end of our crafting, we will choose a winner by applause for the Witchy Hat Contest. The prize will be a small gift basket featuring a few treats from the shop, perfect for celebrating the spirit of the season.

Hop & Hen Farm is a working farm, which means the terrain can be uneven or unpredictable in places. We recommend comfortable, sturdy footwear—no heels, please. If you’d like to enjoy the goat visit and farm tour, appropriate shoes will make the experience much more enjoyable, and certainly safer!

This workshop will take place on our historic covered lower porch. The market lights offer a cozy, protected experience, and we’ll have tall patio heaters running as needed. If the chilly fall weather is of any concern, we recommend bringing a small throw blanket for yourself.

While we want to include people with all capabilities, sometimes our farm is too rugged and not suitable for all people. Please contact us in advance if you have questions so we can discuss if this event is suitable for you or someone in your party.

**Cancellations are honored only by notifying Hop & Hen Farm directly, and no tickets can be transferred without notifying us. Scammers are always trying to pretend they have tickets, or have a vendor space available; BE GONE spammers! Refunds will be honored up to one week before the event only, as there are supplies and materials being prepared in advance for your attendance. You will be charged the transaction fees for both the purchase and refund, so if you want to transfer the ticket to someone else, let us know directly, and you’ll avoid these charges.
